Director's Notes
Dear Audience,
As a lifelong admirer of musicals and the arts, I’ve always yearned to push my boundaries and step out of my comfort zone. Directing a show has been a dream on my bucket list, and “The Addams Family” seemed the perfect choice—a delightful blend of spookiness, comedy, and characters that resonate across generations. At the heart of the story is Wednesday Addams, who yearns for one “normal night” with her boyfriend Lucas Beineke and his parents, while the Addams family remains as delightfully unconventional as ever. Tensions rise with Gomez’s hidden secret, Morticias insistence on playing the game “Full Disclosure”, and Pugsleys mischievous interference involving a potion that brings out hidden truths. As secrets unravel and relationships are tested, the story ultimately celebrates the triumph of love and the Importance of embracing our true selves. Sit back, relax, and enjoy our take on “The Addams Family”. Snap snap.
